The Balvenie Shrine Connection

| Join us December 10th and 17th at 6:30 to 8:30 when Whisky Specialist with William Grant Colin Coleman will be sampling the new release from Balvenie, the Madeira Cask 17 year old and the Balvenie 12 Year Old and Balvenie 21 Year Old. Mr. Colin will also be on hand to answer discuss the history of Balvenie and the finer points of distillations from one of Scotland’s most renown names in whisky. |

Master Distiller Jimmy Russell

Downing Street Pub will be hosting Wild Turkey Bourbon Master Distiller James C. Russell Tuesday December 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mr. Russell will be sampling some of his hand-crafted whiskies, autographing bottles and providing insight to the craft of whisky making where he is recognized as an American Master.
Mr. Russell celebrates fifty-five years of service at the world famous Wild Turkey Bourbon Distillery in Lawrenceburg , Kentucky . Jimmy Russell is one of the last true master distillers in the bourbon industry by learning about the industry the old-fashioned way – through intense training under whiskey masters and first-hand experience in every aspect of bourbon making – Jimmy is revered by other bourbon makers as the ‘master distillers’ master distiller. |
